Sir Harry Wagyu is a highly sought-after product, exported to high-demand markets including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, South Korea and China. Its reputation is built on an innovative feeding program, a relentless pursuit of quality and a commitment to reducing environmental waste.
These purebred cattle, raised in Elbow Valley, Queensland, are fed for over 430 days on locally grown grains, wheat, barley, corn and 20% citrus pulp. The addition of citrus pulp, peel and apples allows the animal to slowly develop an incredibly delicate texture and unique taste unlike anything else. The citrus introduces antioxidants, produces a healthier fat composition and lowers the fat melting point. The cattle are housed in a curved shed specifically designed by Boeing to pull warm, moist air away from the animal during hot weather and allow cool, dry air to circulate, keeping each animal comfortable and stress free.
This commitment to innovation has also helped reduce emissions through decreased energy consumption and water conservation of up to 40%.
